It's that time of the year again in Omaha, the College World Series! The city gets flooded with baseball fans from all over the US to cheer on their favorite college team. Tickets are notoriously difficult to get a hold of but my husband has a colleagues who lets him know if there are any available. We usually get to go to one game each year and it's pretty fun hanging out, eating and watching baseball. Even better, there are beer gardens set up around the TD Ameritrade stadium so if we can't get tickets, we head over there and drink beer all day. Awesome in my book. Last year, I was able to make friends with some older ladies, chugging beer.

Turkey meatballs with a yogurt dipping sauce make for a super yummy appetizer. Heck, I could just eat that on its own. I love any type of food that comes with a dip: veggies with ranch dressing, fries and ketchup, the list goes on. This recipe is perfect for parties because you can seriously make a huge batch, set it in front of everyone, and watch as people fight over these delicious morsels. Just make sure to save yourself some, otherwise you'll be looking at an empty plate. And sadness will ensue.

The hotter temps mean more sweating (gross), which for me, can lead to more breakouts. Since I also like to run, this also can ramp up the possibility of those pesky little buggers popping up on my face. These are my favorite face products that I use to help prevent and treat acne.

I love the versatility of this clutch! It's such a classic style that you can wear it to Sunday Brunch in the morning and late-night happy hour that same evening. The black leather with the small Marc By Marc Jacobs logo means that it's not going to be "Look at me and my designer label!" It can be pretty annoying when a handbag has so much hardware and the logo all over the place that it hurts my eyes.

It's May, which means that vendors are bringing out their goodies to sell at the farmer's market. I'm a huge fan of visiting farmer's markets whenever I can because I love to support local businesses. Omaha's farmer's market is held on Saturdays in the Old Market area. It's not extremely big compared to other cities but it still offers a good selection of seasonal fruits and veggies. And a lot of the times, they'll be cheaper than if I were to buy them in the supermarket.
